Are you licensed for ceremonies at Longstowe hall?

We are able to offer you a civil ceremony for up to 100 guests in either The Rose Ball Room or on the pavilion island with your guests by the lakeside. Longstowe Hall is licensed for Wedding Ceremonies and Civil Partnerships by Cambridgeshire County Council.

Ceremonies must be booked with the Registrars as well as Longstowe Hall. Our recommended Celebrants are White Rose Ceremonies 07725 795316

How many guests can be catered for at Longstowe Hall?

We can cater for 150 guests for a sit-down meal in the marquee and for 200 for informal evening food.

Do you have in-house caterers?

To enable us to offer a consistently high standard of catering, we offer a choice of two approved caterers.  Specialist dietary caterers (e.g. Kosher/Asian cuisine) are possible by approval only

Can we bring our own wine & drinks?

All drinks must be purchased through Longstowe Hall. We have some fantastic drinks packages available for your reception and supply a fully stocked and licensed bar.

Do you have an events manager at Longstowe Hall who will be there on the day?

Yes, our Event Manager is always on hand throughout the day.  They will liaise with your suppliers prior to your wedding day to ensure the smooth running of your wedding.  They will also be at the pre-wedding meeting at Longstowe Hall.

Do you offer exclusive use?

Yes, we only offer exclusive use.

Can I get ready at Lonsgtowe Hall?

Yes, the Bride’s Cottage is on-site and is available for the bride to use from four hours prior to the ceremony, until the ceremony commences.

When can we access the venue to start setting up?

You will have access to the venue from 10am on the day of your wedding.

Is there parking on site?

Yes, there is ample parking at Longstowe Hall.

Can we leave our cars overnight?

Yes, you can leave cars at Longstowe Hall, but they must be collected by 10.00am the following day.

Is there access for coaches?

There is a dedicated entrance and car park for coaches in the village of Longstowe.  The maximum dimensions for coach access is 12 metres long and 4 metres high, because we have a lovely avenue of lime trees.

Is there disabled access and toilet facilities?

Yes, there is disabled access throughout the venue and gardens and disabled loos, as well as male and female loos and baby change facilities.

Can we have confetti/chinese lanters/fireworks at longstowe hall?

In the interest of respecting the environment and the livestock around us at Longstowe Hall, it is not possible to have confetti, Chinese lanterns or fireworks.  However, sparklers in the Courtyard and bubbles in place of confetti are very popular with our couples and look beautiful.

Can suppliers visit the site prior to the wedding for a viewing?

Yes, suppliers can visit Longstowe Hall by prior arrangement.  The Event Manager will be in contact with suppliers prior to the wedding day as well.

What accommodation options are there?

There are numerous nearby hotels, B&Bs and holiday lets all within 10minutes of Longstowe Hall.  The Longstowe Farmhouse is in the village of Longstowe and can be booked subject to availability.  Please contact us for further information.

Should I get wedding insurance?

Yes, we recommend that all couples obtain wedding insurance
